Military Record Translation Help

Post by snardiz »

Hi all,

I've been having a heck of a time deciphering the handwriting on my grandfather's military record (let alone translating it!). I never got to meet him, but on a recent trip to Rome, I got my hands on a copy of his record, and I'd love to learn more about him, and maybe be able to share some details of his service with my dad (he never let on much about his time as a Carbinieri).

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

One more set of pages. The scans were bigger than I expected.

Thank you, this is a great start! It also helps me understand some of the nuances of some of this super loopy handwriting.
