Applying with family members

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Applying with family members

Post by PippaCouch »

Hello

I was hoping to apply by JS along with my sister and brother. Do you know if it is possible to use the same set of original documents for all three of us, with each of us having the relevant birth certificate for ourselves given it is the same line of decent from our GGF? Do we have to apply together? Would we need to have separate interviews? I have emailed consulate ... no reply. I would welcome any information / experience you can share.

thanks

If you are applying through the same consulate, you should be able to set up one appointment at which you can all attend. This simplifies things for the consulate since you are all using the same documents. For what it’s worth, I applied with my son.

You can also apply with separate appointments, with the second and third applicants referring to the first set of documents submitted. Of course, you can only do this if applying at the same consulate.
