Help finding some records, please.
I found this on Family Search and tried to find the actual record, but with no luck.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XK37-TVC
Wondering if this is accurate. Cannot locate anything in Montevago.
Also I am trying to find a birth record on Biagio Monteleone. I have his marriage and death records. Wondering if anyone has access to this. Any info would be appreciated. Attached are the links to these records.

Re: Help finding some records, please.
Thanks so much. Were they actually married on May 22? Find it very hard to understand. Do the records say they were from Montevago? I see Santa Margherita on there. That is were most of my family on that side is from.

Erudita, thanks so much for all your help. So hard to read and translate. What info is on all of those pages of the marriage records?
Re: Help finding some records, please.
Page 1
Left column-Solemn Promise to Marry: The couple appeared at the town hall to promise to marry each other but were not married there. They were married in the town’s parish church.
Dated June 8, 1847-appearing at the town hall of SM
Groom to be: Antonino Montilione, never before married, age 27, born in SM, son of deceased Biaggio (Montilione) and deceased Anna Saladino
Bride to be: Antonia Roccaforte, never before married, age 21, born in Montevago, living in SM, daughter of deceased Antonino (Roccaforte) and deceased Maria Perniciaro Lombardo
Right column-actual marriage in the parish of SM on June 9th; two witnesses at the church-Giuseppe Ferraro and Gaetano Fasullo
*Once the parish priest filled in the right column with the info concerning the celebration of the marriage in his parish church, he sent back a copy to the town official to keep in the town’s registers. The mayor then added the volume number-venticinque (25) and signed his name and title at the bottom of the right column.
Page 2-Left column
The couple promised to marry in the Church according to the terms set forth by the Sacred Council of Trent. The notice of this promise was posted on the door of the town hall of SM on the 16th of May, a Sunday, of the current year
Right column-is a list of the documents the couple presented for their upcoming marriage; sometimes, but not in this record, we also get specific names and dates
1. The acts of birth of the spouses
2. The acts of death of the parents and grandparents of the spouses
3. Copy of the marriage memorandum part II indicating that there was no opposition to the marriage
Bottom of this column begins a list of the four witnesses at the town hall for the solemn promise:
Calogero Ferraro, age 25, a landowner
Andrea Catania, age 58, shopkeeper
Page 4, continuation of the names of the witnesses
Don Rosario Abruzzo, age 52, usher
Don Lorenzo Montilione, age 22, landowner
The town official and witnesses signed below. The spouses were illiterate and did not sign

Erudita, I didn’t mean for you to go to all that trouble. That was a lot to read through. I really appreciate the time and trouble you went through. Thanks so much.

Hi Mary
I honestly don't have the free time to do this for every record, but I wanted you to understand what was going on in this type of marriage record. Always happy to help you. BTW, a really good book to help you with Italian records is by Prof Trafford Cole called Italian Genealogical Records. I was on my own when I started this kind of research, but this book goes through the various types of records, has many examples, and gives explanations and translations of the sample records There used to be a preview of this book on google books.com, but not anymore, which is unfortunate. Did I ever send you the link below?
