Job/Occupation Please Help

Post by Rossonero3 »

Hello, i'm having a hard time understanding what the father's occupation is as listed in this birth record. It looks like "Torronaro"? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

torronaro sometimes written as torronaio-the producer and/or seller of torrone-which is a nougat like sweet

Interesting thank you! Yes I’m familiar Torrone, have bought it several times in Italy, yummy!
This seems to make sense as another record indicates that he was a Negoziante.

You're very welcome. Have had torrone here in the U.S., but never on my trips to Italy!
