Dated 22 March 1899 at 12:25 PM at the town office.
Before the official appeared Giuseppe Cicchirillo, 30, farmer residing in this town, to delcare that at 3:10 AM on the 21st of the current month, in the house in Vallo di Nardo, to Anna Ringo, housewife, his wife, residing with him, was born a male child who was presented to the official and to whom was given the name GIOACHINO.
Witnesses to the recording of the birth were Natale Scarpinati, 38, farmer; and Antonino Dimartino, 31, farmer.
The official read the act to all present and only he signed as the others were illiterate.
