Trying to complete my family tree

I have tried 3-4 times to post via my Kindle but never see my post. I'm now trying via my laptop. Hope it works.

I have traced part of my maternal line back to 1545 but am having trouble with my paternal line. My paternal GGrandparents are Giuseppantonio Nicola Iacobacci born 5/10/1854 in Colle Sannita, Ben., and Filippa Faugno born 4/9/1850 in Circello, Ben. I have their parents as Francesco Iacobacci - Costanza Scrocca, and Luigi Faugno - Maddelena Petriella; no dates available. Can anyone tell me how to get their respective birth/death dates, and any info on their ancestors? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Francesco IACOBACCIO was 23 old (son of late Nicolantonio) when Giuseppantonio Nicola was born, so Francesco was born around 1831, and Costanza, was 22 old, so born abt on 1832...

abt Iacobaccio line, now you know that Nicolangelo was 35 old on 1829 +-; well so the Birth is no available, bu you can find the marriage of Nicolangelo and to descover more, as a well in the Processetto where you can find a lot of records presented for the marriage as parents and grandparents of bride and groom..
You can find the siblings of Francesco.. the their marriage etc etc
the same way abt Costanza Scrocca line..

You found the Processetto of marriage abt Francesco Saverio Iacobaccio as a well the Processetto of marriages abt other Nicolangelo children… ??

I answered earlier however I do not see the post so I'll try again. I went on antenati site and could not find anything for Francesco Iacobaccio or Costanza Scrocca. Neither could I find anything on Nicolangelo. Two of Costanza's children were married in the US so no birth date of her and Francesco available. Her son Michele was married in Circello I think but I can't find him on antenati. I can't find siblings of Francesco or Costanza because I don't know their mother. I'm reluctant to write to Italy because I know they are busy and will not be able to answer me.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your issue where you can't find anything on Francesco Iacobaccio or Costanza Scrocca, but it seems to me that the links above lead you to the data you’re looking for. I'm summarizing below, and the last few posts add a little more to Suanj's work.

1. If you click on the link from Suanj in the second post, it will take you directly to the birth record: Giuseppantonio Nicola Iacobacci, son of Francesco, age 23 and Costanza age 23. Having their ages allows you to approximate the year of their birth to find their birth records.
2. Using that info, Suanj found and posted a link in the next post to Francesco Saverio's Iacobaccio's birth record that gives his specific date of birth, 20 Feb 1829, and his parents names and ages. Nicolangelo Iacobaccio, age 35 and Libera Pizzella, age 26. That lets your know that they were born in about 1793 and 1802. That means you won't find the birth records in the comune, but you might get more information from their marriage records, and it's likely that they were married between 1818-1828.
3. If you follow the link in her next post, the fourth post in this thread, you can click your way to the matrimoni and there are records for each year in the 1820s. There is an index at the end of each year, and they are alphabetized by the first name of the groom.

5. Using Costanza’s age in item 1, I find her birth record on 2 June 1831, which shows her parents as Domenico Scrocca, age 30, and Anna Maria d’Agostino, age 30.

6. Using the ages of the parents in Costanza’s birth you can assume a marriage from 1817-1830 and go back through the marriage records from 1830 backward.

Thank you bbivona for your detailed reply. I wasn't navigating the site correctly. I was looking under Colle Sannita not Colle. I retraced your steps and found the acts but had difficulty reading them. With your instructions I'll continue researching and I hope I'm successful.
