Hello,
Could someone help with the translation (additions and/or corrections) of the Latin death record for:
26 Mar 1796
Margarita Negri, natural and legitimate daughter of Domenico, son of Giovanni Battista Negri, (I cannot translate the rest)

Thank you so very much!

Help with Latin translation of death record for Margarita Negri
Re: Help with Latin translation of death record for Margarita Negri
A few things-
I am reading the day as the 23rd and not the 26th, as it looks like the digit 5 is made without a cap on it in this and other records. That is the day of the burial, as the death took place the day before (pridie). After the name Margherita is the word uxor for wife, so I am reading that she was the wife of Domenico, which is then followed by ex-which to me means son or daughter of Giovann Battista Negri. She had received all of the sacraments and was about age 55 at death. I meant to add that the concepts of natural and legitimate do not appear in this record, as far as I can tell.

Hello Erudita (Erudita74),
I took my time with this one, going over my errors and omissions. I can't thank you enough for being so thorough and explaining some of the Latin for me. Each time I learn more and more. I looked back at this and did not see the natural and legitimate, my mistake. Thank you again so much!

Dear Mmogno,
I just saw where you had written the Latin out for me and I appreciate it so much. I look at the document and follow along with the translation too and it helps me learn.
Thanks again,
Jefferie (jrbak)
