Hi, everyone! I recently located what I believe are a set of grandparents, but the spelling is variated here as Ornone in a nearby commune.
Like any good genealogist, I’d like to confirm that this Maria Ornone is in fact my Maria Arnone! The Gaetano listed matches the age, birth location, etc. for my Gaetano. I have never located a marriage for a Gaetano and Maria in the town of Avellino.
However, the great issue is that on every birth act of their children, it’s spelled as Maria Arnone. How would I go about confirming that Maria Giuseppa Ornone is indeed Maria Arnone? All 3 of her children it’s spelled as Maria Arnone. So far, I believe this is my ancestor, but I want to confirm! Thanks again!

Here is the birth of Maria Giuseppa Ornone of the marriage act you posted above. Born 1857 to unknown parents in Atripalda.

Unfortunately, there is no annotation of Marriage on the record.
Marriages usually took place in the town of the bride's birth.
The surname ORNONE is not found in Campania region, as would be expected if the child was given a fantasy surname by the official.
However, the surname ARNONE is widespread throughout the region.
Perhaps the clerk, when recording the births in Avellino, wrote the spelling that was familiar to him - Arnone.
