does birth record indicate step-mother

Post by carolc »

I found a birth record for Michele Antonio Migliarese son of Domenico but this doc says the mother is Carmela Guarino. Domenico was married to a Maria Luigia Tedesco so now I'm wondering if Maria died and this is a second marriage. Does this record have such info?

Thank you for your help,

The birth act does not have this information...

However, here is the marriage in 1846 of Domenico and Carmela.
In the list of documents presented is #5 - The act of death of Luigia Tedesco, first wife of the groom.
