Liste di Leva annotation

Post by stfrancis »

I am struggling to read this military file annotation.
It looks like he was transferred or released and had some kind of medical condition....but I am really not clear on most of the words !

If anyone would care to take a stab at it, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Looks like he suffered from goiter and enlarged throat.

Thank you Tessa.

This is just the Leva, but It seems like there is no actual foglio matricolare. I am not sure why. Did he actually do any military service? It looks like I see a reference to Bologna?

thanks.

It looks like on 16 February 1872, he was assigned to 34th Infantry Regiment, then reassigned to Bologna and then there was a determination of his growing ailment on 3 June 1872.

Hopefully, someone else will correct or verify this :-)

In follow up, I see something like this:

L'16 febbraio 1872 passato nel 34o reggimento fanteria. Licenziato con semplice foglio di via, in seguito a rassegna di rimando passato a Bologna a successive determinazioni del comand G. in data 3 Giugno 1872, perchè affetta da gozzo e gola grossa (debita s57,160) il 7 Giugno 1872.

....but still does not make complete sense of course...
