Lombardo, my GGG Grandmother, Marianna Lombardo was married to Andrea Dodero, in this cert I see one of the witnesses was an Andrea Dodero and in the next cert, I think the surname is Cattero, I can see that the same Andrea Dodero was also a witness...same person same hand writing.
I would appreciate help with the translations and, if possible, any info to show if there are links between the two people.
many thanks,
John

From the above it would appear that Fiorenzo Cattero, the witness, was the brother of the deceased.

Re: help with translation please - death cert
Thanks Tessa. I had corrected Gioanni, Elisabetta, and Margherita, but somehow my corrections didn't get into what I posted.

On your second post...
While it is possible that Fiorenzo is a brother to the deceased, I am not seeing the evidence in the record that indicates this. Can you clarify?

I should have said possibly or probably his brother.Tessa78 wrote: 25 Jul 2020, 15:41

Giuseppe Antonio Cattero, the deceased, is the 50 year-old son Gioanni Antonio Cattero, deceased.
Fiorenzo Cattero is the 37 year-old son of Gioanni Antonio Cattero, deceased, and reported Gioanni Antonio's death.
The relationship can't be confirmed from this, but both have fathers with the same double name, Gioanni Antonio, and they are of a reasonable age difference to be siblings. Additional research would be needed to prove the connection.

Re: help with translation please - death cert
Many thanks once again bbivona and Tessa, the Dodero and Lombardo one is linked as it looks like they are brothers-in-law.
The Cattero one I haven't found any link into my tree yet, perhaps their families were friends but as my searching continues I may find a link somewhere,
Best regards and have a good weekend,
John
