Image 88-left side
Notification of the solemn promise was affixed to the door of the town hall on the 21st of June, a Sunday, and the 9th of August.
Bottom section left-and top right section-list of documents presented for the marriage
1. birth act of the groom
2. birth act of the bride
3. act of death of Cirino Caltabiano, father of the groom-died Sept 2, 1855
4. act of death of Filadelfio Caltabiano, grandfather of the groom, died in Trecastagni Jan 2, 1824
(I recall that there are also church records for this town that you can access from the familysearch.org catalog)
5. death act of Vincenzo Scalisi, father of the bride-Sept 4, 1853
6. act of notification which resulted in no opposition to the marriage
The future bride did not present the death act of her grandfather, as she did not know the place of his death or the place of his last residence. The witnesses who intervened also did not know this info.
