Anagrafe - certificato storico di famiglia coniugata

[kcscholar]

I have a cousin from a remote area of Piemonte who married in Venezia. I would like to get more information on his marriage - what kind of work led him to Venezia (what was him employment)? Who attended his wedding? Which church? I am particularly interested because he has a known brother whose name/birth date I cannot identify. I wrote to the Anagrafe in Venezia who offers a "certificato storico di famiglia da coniugata" - historical certificate of married family. I am wondering if I should request this certificate or one of the historical family certificates instead. I cannot find any examples online of the married family certificates. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Here is a link to an earlier discussion of the certificato. Perhaps it will help.
One poster provides examples of the documents he received.

And another discussion with clarification of the town's obligation in providing this.
