translation of relative's military record details

Hi everyone
I just wanted to get a translation of a couple of items on my relative's
military record.
1. I cannot make out what his nose was described as in the physical features section.
2. Please translate the note written on 9 June 1921.

I think that in both cases the word is meant be "storto" so "crooked nose" but in the top record, it does look more like "socto" which is new to me, and I understand it can mean "narrow" so it could be "narrow nose"?

I'm still working on the the note but it seems to be saying that "His request for ........? was rejected because in the family, his brother Pietro, of Class 1886 was assigned to the Third Category.

(I'm sorry to hear that things are so tough in Sydney at the moment with Covid. It's just doesn't want to go away... I hope your family are all well and safe.)

If I'm deciphering all the words correctly, I think that he had applied for a reduction in the period of military service, but this was declined because his brother Pietro, (Class 1886), had been assigned to the Third Category.

Thank you so much for confirming my translation, cedrone. I appreciate it. Once I understood what the word "ferma" meant as a military term, I was able to decipher the word "riduzione". The writing in these military documents are often a challenge.

Yes, it could be "torto". To me I always understood the word "torto" to mean "off beat" or "not correct" In the first extract it looks more like "torto" definitely.
