We have found the death record for my great-grandfather, and we're very interested in his cause of death. Can someone please translate? I apologize for not having the original document, but I hope you can read the copy below. Thanks!

Re: Cause of Death?
The cause of death of Giuseppe Giuliani is not indicated in the death certificate.

Re: Cause of Death?
In almost every case, no cause of death is entered on the death act registers. In researching my own ancestors, I only saw it once -- it was an entry in a supplement register (part 2) where someone native to the town had died in another location (in this case Rome) and the notes (supplied by the agent of Rome) indicated the deceased had died of influenza in a local hospital.
That is the ONLY time I've ever come across a cause of death listed anywhere. Period.
The pre-printed pages in the registry volumes do not even have a category where such info can be entered.

Re: Cause of Death?
I agree with the above. I have seen it a few times. Only twice in my family research - once for someone killed while fighting in the war and once for someone who was murdered by his brother-in-law. Occasionally helping people here - I remember someone's relative crushed in a landslide. Point being, death cause is not a part of the act, but sometimes where there is an interesting story with it, it may show up anyway. If it does, it's very rare and probably unusual circumstances.
