Hello everyone,
I found out that a brother of my great-great-grandfather, Adolfo Manciocchi, emigrated from the town of Sermoneta to the US in 1924, settled in Wheeling, WV and was granted American citizenship in 1928, as shown on his naturalisation certificate:

He was married in 1908 with Costanza Savelloni, who travelled to the US with him, and her name also appeared on the citizenship document.
However, in the US Federal Census of 1930, he is listed by himself notwithstanding the fact that he is still recorded as "married".

I looked for his wife's name in the whole county, but she seems to have disappeared into thin hair. Anyone has any suggestions on where did she go?
What happened to my great-great aunt??

You wrote, "Costanza Savelloni, who travelled to the US with him." Do you have any document that shows she actually traveled to the US. I could not find one, either alone or with Adolfo.
Adolfo's first trip to the US was in November 1920 from LeHavre to New York via Quebec. He was described as married and traveling alone.

His second trip, whose date he uses on his Declaration of Intention as his immigration date (January 1924) also has him married and traveling alone. The second page of the manifest indicates that he left the US on 15 Sep 1923 and apparently returned 3 months later. This manifest also indicates his nearest relative in the country he left as: wife Costanza, Selmonte (?)
Also, the document you posted is not his naturalization certificate. It is his Declaration of Intent to eventually apply for citizenship. The 1930 census confirms that he has filed his first papers and is not yet naturalized. I can find no evidence of his naturalization nor can I find either of then in the 1940 census.

Act of Publication of Intent to Marry... of Adolfo and Costanza in 1908 in Sermoneta
#3
Costanza appears to be born about 1892

Here is the birth act for Costanza Savelloni in Sermoneta in 1892.
#8
There are two notations on her birth act: Her recognition with the marriage of her parents on 8 August 1897; and her marriage to Adolfo Manciocchi on 27 February 1908 in Sermoneta.
Unfortunately, there is no annotation of death

Hi Tessa, Thank you very much for your help.
Yes, indeed he did travel alone (although I'm not so sure whether he did travel to Canada before settling in the US). Therefore Costanza must not have been living with him.
Tomorrow I'll go visit a Family Search affiliated library, and I hope that will shed more light on what happened to my ancestor,
