Mario would be my great grandfather but I can not find any information on him in Italy only in the US, Washington State, Cle Elum.

I don't know where I read it, but the word oli means the person was a member of a peasant rather than of a noble family. If this is true both your family BUSSOLI and mine FARIOLIi were from the peasant class. I don't know for sure but the suffix olia shows up in regards to the girls. Maybe this is the female form of the word? Does that show up in your family records, also?

I´m from Argentina, Bussoli is my second surname. The family of muy mother are Italians (100%), from Torino. My mother also is related by the Ré.

The Ré have come to Argentina among half-full and Finnish 1800 and the Bussoli, in 1900.

My grandfather was called Pompilio Bussoli, he has died in 1952.

Well, only it wanted to comment to them that there is Bussolis in Argentina, more in Cordoba than in Buenos Aires.
