Mattia is the father listed on this marriage record.
After his name it seems to list an alias. Am I reading this correctly?
If it is it seems to read Piacentini then an unknown word, maybe gli anni and 50 years old
May I have help reading all this?

Re: Mattia Cardillo
Is this your family tree and were they Spanish taking compound surnames? Looks like Piacentino might be the spouses maiden name, passed on to their son Giuseppe.

Piacentini is the name. It is my great grandmother's maiden name, and occurs in both of my grandparent's trees, and we have distant connection to this region, so I'd be interested in any developments...

Re: Mattia Cardillo
Piacentini is well-represented in Lazio. My Piacentini's hail from Valmontone, but I can only go back by paper trail to 1871. I have a considerable number of DNA matches from around Frosinone and south Lazio...JamesM wrote: 17 Aug 2022, 02:56
