Please translate this marriage record

Post by italian059 »

Good morning!
I could use a lot of help on this record. It is from Agrigento and I find it very hard to read. I think it is a marriage record for Calogero Di Giovanna but I am not sure. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

and

Pippo
I think what you're reading as Soglia is a form of the Latin abbreviation for spouses or a married couple, as this same word appears after the names of the parents of the bride.

I also agree that Audenzia is the bride's first name.

Thanks both of you so much. So I got this record from someone on Ancestry but I am sure he got it from this website: https://www.archiviostoricodiocesiag.it/. I have been on it but it won't let me copy or paste or save from my desktop. Are you familiar with this site? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks again,
Mary
