Ignazia Tesè - Maiden Name?

I am trying to find out the maiden name of my bis bis nonna.

I know she was married to Alfonso Tesè and lived in Carlentini, Sicily.
They had a son, Lorenzo Tesè who was born 18/4/1906.

As their marriage and the birth of their son seem to be post 1900, atenati doesn’t help me. Is there a
way I can find out what her maiden name was?

Where did you find this information? In the lists of the Military District of Syracuse, which includes Carlentini, in the years 1900-1910 there is no Tesè or Tese'.

The birth and marriage records for the town of Carlentini ARE available online at familysearch.org for the years from 1900 (at the links with just a camera to the right, once you sign in with a username and password). I checked the marriage indices from 1900 to 1906, and the 1906 birth index. There is no family with the surname there, confirming the info that mmogno posted above concerning the lack of the surname in the lists for the military district.

Looking over what I have, I can’t say for certainty that they did live in Carlentini at the time.
I assumed they did because their son Lorenzo (my bis nonno) raised my nonna there and also died there.
Lorenzo died on 16/5/1959 and is buried at Carlentini Cemetary.

Further information that may help is that Lorenzo (Alfonso’s son) got married in 1930/1931 to Rosa Gaeta and had their first child, Alfonso, in 1931.
