Cavalier Giovanni Sorce, son of deceased Carmelo, was the secretary to the mayor of the civil state. I'm not sure what you mean by supplement in your title to this thread.

there are indexes and sometimes additions to indexes called supplements or part 1-- part 2
i guess this is not any additional notes for a Sorce record

If you go back two images, you will see the name of the deceased in the margin and that his surname is not Sorce. He was a soldier who died in a hospital in another town, and notice of his death was sent to his native town. That's why his death record appears in this section of the records.
