Re: Death Record translation
From information received in Avellino, and transcribed into the supplementary section of Avellino death records, on 22 May 1943, pertaining to the 1942 death of Costantino Pacilio :
Corporal Costantino Pacilio died at 12.00 on 11 November 1942 in (Sie) Fuzine area (Croatia?) (between km 612,2-612,3) He was 28 yo, born in Avellino on 7 January 1914, the son of Sabato and of Luisa Roca, and husband of Elvira Capossela. It says that he died following action against rebels and was buried in the Delnice (Croatia?) cemetery, as conveyed in the relevant report that was compiled on 11 November 1942.
rebels - resistance movement?
