Help translating birth record - possible infant death?

Post by weevie833 »

Please review the birth record for Vittorio Covello #30:

https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 46/LzgY2DG

I cannot locate a death record for this person and suspect she was born dead. There is no Diversi registry that would have a separate section for nati morti, so I think the annotation at the bottom refers to "muerta" but the script is difficult to make out. - Thank you.

This infant was NOT born dead. The bottom section just says that the witnesses were illiterate and did not sign below. Only the declarant, Pasquale Covello, the infant’s father, and the town official, signed at the bottom of the document.
