Trip to Caccuri to find birth records

Hi ~ My Father was born in Caccuri, Italy in 1911. His name was Salvatore Rao. His parents were Francesco Rao and Angela Turelli - There were married in Caccui Nov 5, 1889 (per Ancestry.com). They immigrated to the US together in Sept 5 1913 on the ship "America". My Grandfather worked in the coal mine's in Boomer WV and died in an explosion on 11/30/1915. My Grandmother moved everyone to Pittsburgh, PA after his death.

In America, their last name was changed to ROWE or RAWE (bothers had different spellings)

My sisters and I are planning a trip to Caccuri this March and needing guidance on where to start in our records search.

Here is a brother to Salvatore...Vincenzo Rao...born 16 September 1909.

Mother: Angela Turelli, his wife

Francesco was age 21, A shoemaker, son of deceased Saverio [Rao] and of living Barbara Amato
Angela was age 26, A spinner, daughter of unnamed father and of deceased Orsola Turelli.
At their marriage Francesco and Angela requested the recognition of a daughter born to them on 13 January 1899, and named Maria Saveria Rao.
