BETTI, MORASCHINI and DELLA GALLA(?) families from Tresivio

Hello all.

I am trying to find information on the following ancestors who came from the Sondrio region.

Giovanni BETTI 1/6/1872 - 19/10/1958 and his wife Luisia DELLA GALLA (? unsure of correct spelling due to interesting handwriting!!). They were married in April 1895 and had 8 children, with 5 emigrating to Australia in the early 1900's. They were: Guiseppe born 6/4/1896, Vittorio born 1899, Agnese Louise born 13/10/1901 (my grandmother), Rosali born 1904 and Aurelia born 1911. Two daughters died young, Sylvia and Dosolina, leaving one daughter, a Maria BETTI born 1898, who perhaps stayed in Italy. I know nothing more of her life. Maybe there is still family in the area?

Giovanni's parents were Giovanni BETTI and Domenica MORASCHINI. No dates are known for either of these.

Was not able to find Domenica Moraschini but find 8 Moraschini here is the link

The name Moraschini seems to be unusual, so there could be some kind of link there. Giovanni Betti seems quite common. It gives me another line to look at.

Just an update.
I have received information from relatives that Giovanni's wife was:
Luigia DELLA GOLA BIGLIA.
All other details are correct and still minimal.

Thankyou so much for the information. I have visited this site, admittedly some time ago and all the relevant files were not open to the public. It pays to revisit sites, to see the changes as some of those files are now open!!!!
It is great to see passport photos of grandparents whom I had never met.

Interested in Moraschini's in Australia - in particular a Laurie (or loris) Moraschini who lived in Queensland - can locate him from 1936 until he died 1963 in Queensland. All Moraschini's on Ancestry.com are in Western Australia and only a handful - wondering where Loris / Laurie came from. Thank you
