You might want to use the German Genealogy forum (see link to your left under Genealogy Forums) There is a translation category there, as here, to post your request.

Tessa,
I have had a post on the German Genealogy site for over a month and a half. It has been read over 150 times but no responses. I notice there are many "no response" inquiries. That forum does not start to compare with this one. This forum is the best.

Perhaps you might have some luck at rootschat, http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.ph ... 135.0.html

On a good day, you may also get some help at WordReference.com, http://forum.wordreference.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18

Carmine,
You have some amazing resources. I tried rootschat and had instant success. I recommended it to my daughter, a genealogist, who is pursuing ancestral roots in Wales back in 1635.
Thank you,

Thanks, but the credit goes to Raffaella (suanj) as it was she who mentioned rootschat in another thread. I had success there as well on a semi-dormant research project of my own.
