I was wondering how I find out information from Italy, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates? I think I need to write to the church in the town my realtives were from but how do I find the church to write to? I'm trying to connect relatives in Italy to my Great grandfather. I just do not have any other names other then his fathers and mothers name. Any sugestions would be good.

For request certificates, if born or married after 1871, are necessary to request in birth's Common Office (normally, but many Commons are the birthregistries before 1871); if before and in the birth Common have not registries before 1871, you can to request in the church.. for exact church, are easy, why in the past, normally, in little villages or towns, was the Cathedral...

Not, Xenia is an surname from Turkey or Greece, is not italian surname; Ernestina Aloisa are two first name (Aloisa as Eloisa), but Aloisa is an italian surname, also exist Aloiso, Aloisio, or also Aloisi (very common in all Italy)..you sure that Xenia is just or an similar version? "...enia"?
