Jim,
The first page has the left side cut off. Any chance you can repost it?
I can read 1844 February 19 as the date of the record. Declarant looks like Lucanxxx Iannotta, son of deceased Nicola. 40, farmer. Address is Strada S. Erasmo
Both marriages took place in SMCV. The date you mentioned is actually 19 May 1870, not 1890, and is the date that the FIRST marriage was recorded.
The second marriage was recorded on 14 June 1889.
I would say, based on the naming patterns of the Italians, it could have been Domenico's grandfather. Maybe someday I will get that far.
For now, I have re-scanned page 1 for clarity.
Thank you, Tessa.

This records the baptism of Angela Rosa Iannotta at the Church of Sant'Erasmo on 21 February 1844.

edit: By the way, the number written out in the bottom right column is ottantto which is just the page number (see top of page)

Can anyone read his mother's name? Also, what is the word following S. Maria (sudetta?).
