Help finding manifest for Angela Maria Mazzei

Post by legnoduro »

Ciao a tutti,

I am having a very difficult time locating any immigration documents for my great-grandmother Angela Maria Mazzei. She left Deliceto, Puglia Oct 14, 1917 for the USA. My great grandfather died a few years earlier so I believe she came alone. Her married last name was Di Pasquale. She was born May 10, 1852. Her destination was probably either Massachusettes or New Jersey. Any help would be very appreciated.

Thank you,
Joseph

No, you are all FANTASTIC! I received information from Deliceto that she emigrated with the exact date of 14 Oct 1917. I guess they were wrong. Her name is actually Mazzei. Thank you all for the quick action.

I thought that there was something wrong with that 1917 date because that was just before the end of WWI aand I don't think anyone was travelling overseas then. Perhaps she left Deliceto then.

Maybe that was when she left Deliceto (for another comune), not when she left Italy...
