Serofino Mascioletti

Post by Nigro »

Looking for the family of Serofino Mascioletti. He was born in Abruzzo - Bagna? He married Ida Bellarosa in 1905....he was 30 years at the time of his marriage to Ida. Believed the last place he lived was in NY - Niagara falls area.

Hi suanj!

Great details :D

Having trouble locating this family in the US.
Perhaps they went to Canada?

Could Serafino have been born in Bagno, a frazione of L'Aquila?

Thanks
Valarie

Thank you suanj :D ,
I hadn't thought about that. It may also be difficult to find them under just their first names, I'm not sure how they would have been 'americanized'

Yes, I believe Serofino was born in Bagno. He falls on the radar after 1917 when Ida traveled to Niagara Falls with Puerina and Guido. Do you think Serofino ended up in Canada - North Bay. Ida later met Gabriele Pacione and they lived in Baltimore, MD and Lawrence, mass. But I cannot find any census reports for either of those locations.

I believe Serofino traveled to Dunbar, Pennsylvania with brother-in-law. Maybe there is a census for Serofino living with the Lancione's in Pennsylvania.

I am beginning to think that Serofino died in Canada sometime between 1917 and 1940.
