I am seeking some detailed biographical data on General Roberto Brusati (abt 1850-1935). I have found some references to him in WW! literature. For a time he was in charge of the Italian First Army which did battle in Asiago and later was removed from command. I am interested in his life, his family, his military history and if he was ever stationed in Southern Italy, especially the Calabria area.. I am following up on some information verbally given to my father when he was 16 which I have discounted until recently.
Thank you very much. Joann Toole

Re: Gen. Roberto Brusati
Gen. Roberto Brusati's son, Renzo, married an American, and died a year later during the Influenza Epidemic of 1919.
If you enter "Renzo Brusati" into Google's search page you will find everything I know about Renzo.
His wife, Sylvia, was the sister of Rutherford Page, whose page can be found at
