This birth act for Giovanni Parente
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/2368/page0084.jpg

Act #58
On 29 October 1848 at 3 PM (hour 15) at the town hall in Montefusco, dist. of Avellino, Province of Pincipato Ultra, appeared Ciriaco Parente (looks like first writing of name smudged out), 36, [can't make out occupation], residing in Montefusco, to present a male infant and declare that same was born to Giuseppa di T(I)orio, his legitimate wife, age 30, living with him, on day 29 of October at 10 AM in the house they live in. They gave him the name of Giovanni Parente.
Present were witnesses Antonio Lerino (sp?), 40, laborer, and Giuseppe Mangariello, 38, laborer, both residing in Montefusco.
The right side indicates that the child was baptized the same day at the parish Church of S. Maria.

Hi Tessa, you are the best :D . I can't wait to show my sister. I will also make copies for all my cousins. My grandfathe alesandro and my grandmother Josephine had 12 children. My dad was the baby. He passed away on November 11, 1995. There is only one still alive, my aunt Helen, she just broke her hip and is not doing very well. As you could emangine, I have a huge family. I am the last of the grandchildren. That is why my name on the forum is Last. My mom and dad did have another baby girl that died at birth. It was sad to see some of the children didn't live to long.

Thank you again for translating the documents for me and my family. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
