Birth Certificate - I need help with some translation

Post by mamatangelo »

I already have the main stuff, names and dates, from this record. But as I try to look for the parents' marriage record (Giovanni and Maria) I cannot find it anywhere. I also cannot find any siblings for Rosa.

Is there anything written that might have useful information about this?

I see the note on the left about her marrying Pietro Zaccarello, but I cannot read the note under that ( the second image is a zoom in on this note).

Thank you for any ideas you have!!

The second notation on the left is also a marriage notation. Date looks like 17 June 1903, No. 14, in Portico. Marriage to what looks to read Giovanni Iodice.

Hmm, it does look like Giovanni Iodice. That is her father's name too. Would there be any way the note is about her father?

Thank you!

Not likely...

Probably a relative (like a second or third cousin) or someone with the same last name. There are names within a town's population that are more prevalent than others...
