Have not come across a "single" word for it. You might want to say the great grandfather of my great grandfather (bisnonno di mio bisnonno)

I believe its bis- bis-bis nonno. en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bisnonno =Peter=

One of the possible solutions:
nonno - g.father
bisnonno - gg.father
trisavo (or trisavolo) - ggg.father
quartavo (quartavolo) - gggg.father
nonno - g.father
bisnonno - gg.father
trisavo (or trisavolo) - ggg.father
quartavo (quartavolo) - gggg.father

A great -great-granfather is an ARCOVOLO as per Italian Dictionary word. =Peter=
