my GF only had 1 sibling, a sister josephine, who is listed, along with her parents, on the 1930 census. my GF wasnt listed there b/c he was head of household with his wife and children. i know this takes time but if all the info i have is wrong or too generic how do i track these people.. do i need to send requests to italy? i cant find their surname on any of the lists available to me online.

More clues?
If the obituary for Marion Centanni belongs to your family and the names on the vault at St Roch cemetery are correct, it appears that there were more siblings (mother Marion's obituary may have only listed 'survivors')

possibly related 1965 obituary for Rosia Centanni Ferrara- daughter of Marion and Michel Centanni
b abt 1892 probably in Alia, Palermo, Sicily

Brothers and sisters names from Rosia's obituary are very close to the names on the 1910 census that T :D found

Sam Centanni
Rosia Centanni Ferrara (1892-1965)
Roy Centanni (1898-)
X Centanni Pizza
Charles Centanni
X Centanni Stoddard

Your nearest Family History Center can order records for Alia on microfilm.
The cost is about $5.50 mo (rent), you’ll need to go to the center to order & view them.

thanks for all the info. i also found the info online regarding the cemetary records. josephine centanni stoddard was my GF sister. i know that my GF is entombed there. he is listed as roy centanni although he was named rosalino ( on birth extract) but he also used roy. the burial site is a family tomb and is shared by all names listed there. i'm almost postive that marion and michel centanni are my great grandparents. there is a discrepancy in her age listed on the birth extract and the age at death. she was 34 yo in 1898 and could not be 50yo in 1938. the copies of birth extract are liseted in the translation part of this site. the birth extract of GF was prob needed for his marrigage to GM, rosalie (lilly) zito centanni in 1924. this is info that i got from original certificate of marriage dated 9/24/1924. my Gm parents are listed there as ciro zito and sarah tortamasi. all of the people listed as buried at the st. roch site, other than marion, michel and roy centanni, are my GF sister and her husband and his side of the family. i dont know the ferrara's.
