Colacicco, Tedesco and Capaldi's in Edinburgh?

Hello, i have just found out my great uncle married Fiorinda Colacicco in Edinburgh 1918. Her father was Aniello Colacicco and Mother was Assunta Tedesco. I am trying to find out Assunta's Parents names?
I would also like to know if Aniello Colacicco had a sister called Angelantonia, who married Antonio Capaldi in Birmingham. They also lived in Edinburgh, running a Milk Bar.

Anyone with information on Colacicco's or Tedesco's in Scotland, i would like to hear any information.

I have just found out Aniello and Assunta Colacicco were living in the same house in 1900 as Antonio Capaldi and Angelantonia (nee Colacicco).
Address was 1 Semple Court, Edinburgh.

Does anybody know a way of knowing if Angelantonia and Aniello were related?

Ok. Aniello and Angelantonia were Siblings.

I am trying to find out where Aniello and Assunta Colacicco were in 1901?

Also still need to know Assunta (nee Tedesco) parents please?

Hello Jamie

My father was Giuseppe Colacicco. He was born in Edinburgh in 1904. His father (my grandfather) was Aniello Colacicco (1864 - 1943) and his mother (my grandmother) was Assunta Tedesco. It seems that they both came from San Michele near Cassino in Italy or thereabouts. My father married several times. His first wife was Lucia Capaldi. The two families seem to have intermarried through a couple of generations at least.

I am trying to find out more about Assunta Tedsco/Colacicco. I am fairly sure that she was born in San Michele and married in the Cassino area. They had several children born in both Italy and Scotland. My father, I think, was the last. Aniello is buried in the Cassino cemetary but I have not yet discovered what happened to Assunta. I am looking for a picture of her.

Aniello Colacico's father was Domenico Colacicco and his mother was called Francesca Lanni.

The thread from suanj may be my father's brother who was called Dom.

How very exciting! I have been looking for a connection for a long time especially to Assunta who I known very little about. I too have a few bits and pieces (mostly Colacicco) that may be of some interest but the Capaldis and the Colaciccos seem to be closely linked.
