Help with a ship manifest - origin of passenger

I am seeking any information regarding an ancestor, my g-g grandfather, mainly where he came from in Italy. His name is Biagio (Biogio in boat record) Perricone.

He landed in New York on May 2, 1896 when he was 16 aboard the Braunschweig which left Naples. The particular ship manifest I found does not have a town of origin for him or any of the passengers, as far as I can tell.

He resided in Brooklyn, NY from 1901 onward. He married Maria Cusenza in May 1901, and had 3 kids: Maria (Mary), Joseph, and John. He died in 1913 of a heart attack in Brooklyn, NY.

His parents on the death certificate were listed as Giuseppe Perricone and Maria Rotolo.

I'd like to learn where in Italy he came from. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to find out since the boat record does not say?

I've posted this before but just doing a repost to see if anyone else has some insight. I tried finding about Rosa Perricone above him, who may be a sister but it led nowhere. Chances are her maiden name was Perricone but went under her husband's name in the United States. Thanks.

Yes I have a copy. It just says Italy. Same goes for his death certificate.

Did Biagio have any siblings? Maybe we can find town of origin that way.

Who were witnesses on the marriage record? Any relatives?

I can't seem to locate anyone int he 1900 census, although I know they should have been there, especially Biagio. They are easily found in the 1910 census. It says that Maria came over in 1900. I found 2 Maria Cosenza's that match her timing from Santa Margherita...one in 1900 but she was a few years older, and one in November 1899. I assume the Nov 1899 is her.

Let me know if you think we can go anywhere with this.

Should really try to tie down the correct birthdate. Any chance this is Biagio?

Oops! I just re-read and see that he died in 1913.

Yes, he died in 1913. I have the death certificate and he's in a family plot. Curious that there is another Biagio Perricone near the same age. His last residence is the same zip code where my family is from as well in Brooklyn.

Further information. Doubt it will help but I know my Biagio had 3 kids. One was Maria, my g-grandmother. The next was Joseph who died in California in 1989 under the name Joe Perry. He had 1 son named Benjamin but he died childless in 1984. Another son of Biagio's, John, died as a boy in 1920.

I have found other censuses (1910, 1920, 1930) for Giuseppe/Joseph Morello and wife Rosa/Rose in Brooklyn. If this is the correct family, then it appears both Giuseppe and Rosa naturalized, possibly in 1904. If this is the correct family, the naturalization documents may provide some lead as to Rosa's place of birth or at least Giuseppe's.

The 1900 census (previous post) lists a daughter, Antonia, born 1898. The 1910, 1920, and 1930 censuses all show a son, Tony/Anthony of the same age.
