People didn't move around much in those days when travel was mostly on horseback or horse/ox drawn cart. It will take me awhile to find the actual reference, but I recall reading some time ago that prior to the dawn of the 20th century, most people never traveled more than 15 miles from their place of birth in their entire lives.Lodato3 wrote:wow thank you very much Tessa78
Ill give those a try and see what I can come up with.
I pretty much know that John Lodato was born in that town, not 100% if his parents were? Are there any census records for this town?
Six of the seven listings are indeed persons ( http://www.paginebianche.it/execute.cgi ... to&dv=Cava De' Tirreni Zona Asi Cava Dei Tirreni&of=28700&btt=1&om=0 )Lodato3 wrote:I used google map to check the locations of those 7 phone #s, 1 seems to be a market, 2 are car dealers, 1 looked like an empty lot?
So I looked up Lodato in Italian and it means praised.
not sure if those are actual Lodato's or what
I'll start by writing a letter to the commune I guess
Based on a thread here many months back, I found that you do not need World Deluxe if all you are interested in is US and Italian records.Tessa78 wrote:Are you subscribed to the World Deluxe version? Need that to do international searches.
