Italian Symbol for a tattoo or pics of italian heritage tatt

Post by Troubled »

I am looking to get a tattoo, but I want to get something that deals with my italian heritage as well. So I am looking for an italian symbol that I could get tattooed or italian tattoos that other people have gotten. :?:

Well, you could find your family sopranome (nickname) and use that.

Whatever you do, make sure you use an artist who has experience.
Nothing is worse than walking out of a tat shop thinking "this isn't what I
had in mind". Also, be careful in choosing colors....some skin tones hold
certain colors better than others.

I was thinking not of your family name, but rather the family nickname. It's like an individual nickname, except it can be used over several generations of descendents. It's often recorded in the church records of weddings, etc.

My brother has a great tat with the red italian horn and the man sitting on top of it, notable in the Naples region.

The LUPA CAPITOLINA is connected to birth's history of Rome; it is narrated that the two twins
Romolo (the first king of Rome) and Remo (killed from Romolo) that they founded Rome, have been nurses to you from one wolf... this is the Rome symbol, and in all world are not an equal symbol...

I'm not into tattoos, but from a female point of view, definitely not a good choice, suanj. (Sorry!) My vote would be Italian boot or flag.
