Great find Valarie!
So seeming that Sarha and Serafina are same person!
the problem is Serafina maiden name...

however they married in USA...
It could be very helpful to find the death record ofGiuseppe Ferrarelli/Joseph Farrell or similar name...
Hugs,

Hey suanj!
I agree, married probably in Erie County NY (Buffalo)
I haven't had any success finding Joseph's death record - died between 1930 and 1959.

You'll need to contact the consulate where you'll be applying to find out the paperwork that you'll need. The consulate you'll use depends upon where your residence is
I'd start by locating Joseph's naturalization paperwork

I apologize for not properly responding earlier. I was on my smart phone responding to everything previous.

Now that I have had time to collect all of the data and put it all in a spreadsheet, I want to express my sincere gratitude for all of your support and efforts in my search.

I hate to ask any more of any of you, but I have one final question. How do I comprise all of this information into exactly what the Embassy needs for my citizenship? If any of you can help me, I will gladly pay you for your time. I would gladly pay you for your time thus far. I don't know any other way to thank you properly.

Sincerely yours,

Wayne Nathaniel Ferrarelli-Donaldson-Sampson aka Rocky

Giuseppe,

Grazie a voi, ma che cosa significa?

Come famiglia lombardi è correlato a me?

Ho sangue lombardi?

Si prega di perdonare il traduttore.

I have been having problems finding the birth records in San Giovanni for either Sarafina Cortez or Giusseppe Ferrarelli born April 15, 1875. I tried the email unsorrisoagliemigrati@yahoo.it but it was not valid.

Some students at the university here are trying to help me, so translation will not be an issue.

I just don't know where to go next. :0(

First of all I apologize for the delay with which I answer to you. If I understand correctly, you have already written, in the past, to that e-mail, and have not received a response. I just wrote an e-mail to that address to see if it is still valid. Anyway, I'm able to put you in touch with an expert in genealogy research who lives in San Giovanni in Fiore which free of charge is able to give you any answer to your request. For the moment, at a first glance it seem to me Sarafina ( Serafina is the correct spelling) Cortez has no relationship with San Giovanni in Fiore because Cortez is a Spanish surname. Waiting for your news and let’s keep in touch

Good news. I have found Giusseppe's Death Record. He went to prison in Moundsville, WV where he died of a Stomach Carcinoma. The record is under the name Joseph Farrielli, but the dats add up, and my uncle Frank was the informant. But I am having problems finding his nationalization records. Where can I find those?

Thank you,

Still looking...

I am open to any suggestions. According to the 1930 Census, the name is actually spelled Frail. I have found several documents the refer to my family by these names. Same people... different last name:

Frail
Freil
Ferrel
Farrel
Ferrell
Farrell
Farrielli
Ferralelli
Ferrelli
Ferrarelli

So, I am open to the idea that the name could have been spelled Fragale at any point.

Thank you,
Rocky

I researched the idea that Sarafina Cortez was possibly Spanish, however all of the documents, including census records, refer to her as Italian.

Thank you,
