Birth Record for Iacobucci from San Valentino

My great-grandfather was bon 2/20/1888 in San Valentino. His name was Vito Iacobucci. He married Rosario Di Francesco from Alanno in 1908. He lists Alanno as his last foreign residence on his naturalizaiotn papers. He moved to Canton, Ohio in 1914 and Rosario followed in 1915 with their two children, Giovanni and Giuseppe Iacobucci. In America, their last name was changed to Buch. They had nine more children in the United States. I would like to obtain Vito Iacobucci's birth record in San Valentino to find out what his parents' names were, and anything I can find out about them. I would amost assume he had brothers and sister. What do I need to do to get a copy of his birth record in San Valentino? Thank you!

Welcome to the site and good luck on your researching
I looked for records of Comune di San Valentino province Pescara at Family History LIbrary they only go to 1809-1865 so you will have to contact the town and ask them about later records but there are records available from the comune of Alanno province of Pescara from 1809-1910 birth marriage and death.Italian custom they usually get married in the Brides home town so if that info correct heres the info for getting those records out of Alanno

Thank you so much for your direction!! No wonder you are a master! I looked for the closest Family History Center, and it is actually less than 2 miles from my house. I called and spoke to a woman who said she was actually born in Alanno, has relatives that are Di Francesocs, AND she speaks and writes Italian!! She said she would be happy to translate for me. What are the chances of that happening? I am going next Wednesday evening (she is only there 2 hours a week). I am so excited!
