how do you get Parish birth/baptism information for Buia. My great grandfather was born 1854 in Buia, I believe this information was kept with the Parish?

If you haven't done so already, you may want to start by asking the comune for civil records. In the south, it is not unusual to find civil records dating back to the very early 1800's; less common in the north, but I would call the 1850's a possibility.

thanks for the information, I have contacted Buia and they have come back with the following. I am assuming records for Buja started in 1871?
