Sicilian translation help needed, please?

Hi there, I'm sure you all get a very large amout of people asking for random translation and I'm sorry if I'm adding to the annoyance. But the reason for my post is; I thought of a quote and it is "I never asked for you to forget, just to forgive." I'm considering it as a tattoo and I thought if I'm going to have something written permanently on my body I'd try to give it the most meaning possible. To add on top of what it already means to me, I'd like to have it translated into Sicilian since my grandfather was born there. I'd just ask him and have him teach me about the language but he's passed away. So I would greatly appreciate everyones help. Thank you.
