I'm having trouble making out the month and day for this death record. I'm pretty positive that the year is 1890, because this record was with the 1890 deaths for the town of Caggiano.

Death date: 20 July (in italian: "ieri l'altro", so the 20 July)

thank you...what does it say next to carmina (wife) isoldi's name? it looks like morti but i have her listed as alive in 1897. i'm kind of confused. here is a marriage record for her son vincenzo and her name can be found on the record.

abt Giuseppe Marcigliano death, he was 59 old, farmer, born and resident in Caggiano, son of late Vincenzo and of late Margherita ...(unreadable maiden name), husband of Carmina Isoldi..

It states "marito di Carmina Isoldi", "Carmina Isoldi's husband". There no "fu", so she must have been alive.

Carmina Isoldi was alive at Vincenzo marriage; she given the marriage consent, as stated in the marriage act
