Hi. are an Domenico Ressa that in 1861 was in jail for an bad phrase (was an accomplicide of brigandage) to Italy's King:
"Se la cavò a più buon mercato un contadino, tal Domenico Ressa, che il 9 gennaio 1861 fu incriminato di "pubblico discorso da eccitare lo sprezzo e il malcontento contro la sacra persona del Re", in realtà aveva gridato in pubblica piazza "Viva Francesco II !"; il 21 gennaio fu condannato per questo a sette mesi di carcere ( Archivio di Stato di Avellino, Pretura di Bagnoli Irpino, sentenze penali, vol. 77 tratto da " Manifestazioni antisabaude in Irpinia " di Eduardo Spagnolo, Edizioni Nazione Napoletana, 1997 ).
