Can anyone help???

My Great, Great Grandfather Dominick Valente left Saint Pietro with his brother Luigi around the late 1880's. Would anyone have information on the Valente family in this area??

Hi: most probable the town is San Pietro in Guarano (Cosenza province/Calabria region).
In Mormons center are the microfilms of civil records:

"Registri dello stato civile, 1770-1910 San Pietro in Guarano (Cosenza). Ufficio dello stato civile"
currently are only 2 Valente persons in San Pietro in Guarano:

Hi Your G, Great Grandfather Dominick (Real name Dominico) Is my Great Grandfather. My name is Michael Valente. I and my brother Martin Have been trying to trace our family, which I started years ago. We beleive he was born 30th January 1852 and got married in Villa Latina Church ( which I have visited ) to Teresa Capitano. I hope we can help each other more.

Hi Michael, these are the same people. However, I believe them to have married in Belfast. They are both buried in Miltown Cemetry Belfast. You can contact me direct at maureenoloan2004@yahoo.co.uk
