Record 614
Dated 23 November 1891 at 11:15
The official received that day from the hospital a communication which he transcribes -
Grande Ospedale di Messina Servizio Esposti Messina
Dated 22 November 1891
On Saturday, 21 November at 12:45 PM was exposed (left) at the wheel a male child that appeared to be about 10 days old.
...the child arrived with a shirt, two pair of white linens (diapers), a band/ribbon, and a damask color tablecloth and 2 cloths/rags, along with a ticket/tag on which was written Antonio, 21 November 1891. It appears the child did not appear to be in good health and so was baptized that day and given the name Giovanni Tore.
