Guiseppe Dichiera and Maria Dichiera PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

I am very new to this forum and I got told about this site by a friend.

I was wondering if anyone could please help me to track down information about my grandparents

Guiseppe Dichiera and wife Maria Dichiera.

They both were born in Reggio Calabria and as far as I know they were both Dichiera's before marraige.

They miagrated to Australia, Victoria. and not long after my mother was born.

I am trying to track down Birth certificates and other records from their history.
Is anyone able to please please help me?
or point me in the right direction to where I can find the records?
Are there any services or people I can pay to help me find them?

My grandparents names are (both born Dichiera's)

Guiseppe Dichiera - Born 1926 and Death October 31st 2000

Maria Dichiera - Born 1929 25th Nov and still living

They were both born in Reggio Calabria and miagrated to Australia.

Hi, a large number of Dichiera emigrated in Australia coming from Caulonia ( Reggio Calabria province) so maybe also your Giuseppe was born here...

Really?.. As soon as I can find out some information on where they are orn I can locate the local commune and search for their Birth Certificates.
Where can I find this information?

The correct spelling is Giuseppe, not Guiseppe

Hi,
the better way is to write in Caulonia, in Italian language, abt the request of Giuseppe birth certificate , because you know his birthdate; abt Maria you must know her maiden name...
If the clerk find Giuseppe birth record you will receive the his birth certificate... maybe if Giuseppe married in Italy, on the birth certificate you will find also marriage note, showing the Maria maiden name and the marriage date and place...
