To me it looks like it could be "Via SM degli Angeli" so short for "Via San Maria degli Angeli".

Not sure what others think?

Going to Italy with my friend in Sept! This is the address where his grandfather was born in 1886.

Well, in Giovinazzo there is the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, and the address is Via Madonna degli Angeli
Maybe it's the same street
