Guzzi Family Acri

Post by MEMELELE »

Hi everyone,

I have info on my grandfather Giuseppe Guzzi., I.e, immigration from Italy. When he came over, the ship manifest says he was staying with an aunt Cristina Arcuri in Providence, Rhode Island.
I only know my great grandfather's name is Francesco Guzzi (Acri). His wife I believe is Anna Arcuri (father Pietro). Their children were Giuseppe, Albino, Amalia and I believe another son. I'm stuck. Any help wld be appreciated.

Have you used Marty's :D suggestion in an earlier post to rent the films of the LDS Family History Center? Presently, there are no records available online for Acri...

In case you do not already have this record... here is the Petition for Naturalization of Giuseppe Guzzi, bricklayer, living in Brooklyn, arriving in 1920 on the Ferdinando Palasciano to NY

Thank you Tessa...and yes I did request Acri archives but must admit that the machines at the LDS Center were terrible. The light bulbs were not sufficient and I could barely make anything out. So that was a bust, but thanks.
